Berkshire Hathaway invested tens of billions of dollars in shares during the first quarter as Warren Buffett bought the drop.
Berkshire Hathaway controls more than 10% of Paramount, which renamed from ViacomCBS in 2022, and $390 million in Ally Financial.
Paramount rose 14%, Citi 7%, and Ally roughly 5% after Buffett's announcement.
Berkshire Hathaway also bought Chevron, Occidental Petroleum, HP, and Activision Blizzard, although the transactions were already known.
During the first quarter of 2022, Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway added to eight new assets. Early March saw the most buying.
Buffett's company revealed new transactions Monday night, including $2.6 billion in Citigroup shares and $1.9 billion in Paramount Global shares.
