Virginia lady wins $100,000 Powerball

Last month, a Hampton lady won $100,000 on Powerball.

Raychella Coston never played Powerball, but her father did. He knew when she handed him her April 9 ticket.

He said, "You won!"
True. Win $100,000.
Her Chesapeake 7-Eleven ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball.

Usually, it's $50,000. Coston purchased Power Play® for an additional $1. That additional buck doubled her winnings to $100,000.

6-16-31-62-66 and 18 were the winning numbers. She used Easy Choose to randomly pick her ticket numbers.

It's 1 in 292.2 million to match all six numbers and win the prize. 1 in 25 people win Powerball.
