How often Americans eat salad

A poll of 2,000 Americans, done by OnePoll and commissioned by Fresh Express, indicated that 62% consume salads frequently

But that's it. 31% of Americans feel iceberg lettuce is the finest salad basis, while 23% prefer kale.

78% said the "ideal salad" should be chopped, 60% said it should be prepared, and 51% said it should be a side dish.

Just over half wanted their salad "laden" with fruit (57%) or roasted veggies (52%).

Flavorful dressings like balsamic vinaigrette (13%) and ranch (11%) 27% of respondents eat salads to obtain their greens or consider them healthful.

With so many viewpoints, we're thankful for salad bars.
