A 9-year-old who calls himself the world's youngest abstract artist sold a painting for $25,000.
Mikail Akar of Cologne, Germany, exhibited big paintings at ArtMuc in Munich.Jackson Pollock is Mikail's inspiration (1912-1956).
The Turkish-born teen told German reporters, "I also like Gerhard Richter and Jean-Michel Basquiat."
Mikail's paintings were on display in Munich through May 15. The following day was school, so he had to return home with his dad Kerem, 41.
Kerem stated of his son's fame: "Since he was 4, he's been finger painting.
Young artist has already finished 21 exhibits. "I was in New York with my photos two weeks ago."
