22-passenger Nepal aircraft crash discovered

Nepalese rescuers have identified the crash site of a missing airliner carrying 22 passengers.

A Nepal Army spokesperson stated the plane's wreckage was found in Mustang, northern Nepal.

The 20-minute flight lost touch with ATC five minutes before landing.
There are no confirmed crash survivors.

The aircraft included four Indians, two Germans, and 16 Nepalis. Bad weather and rugged terrain slowed search efforts until Monday.

A Nepalese Army spokesperson tweeted images of the plane's remnants, which had the call sign 9N-AET.

Narayan Silwal tweeted that search and rescue forces found the accident site.
